Creating an Accessible, Low-Maintenance, and Long-Lasting Kitchen
The brief
We recently had the pleasure of working with a couple who held specific requirements for their new kitchen. They emphasised the need for accessibility, low maintenance, and longevity. Understanding the importance of these factors, we took on the challenge with enthusiasm and dedication.
Our solution
To meet the customer’s accessibility needs, we opted for a minimal door style, eliminating any ledges that could catch dust or grime. This decision not only aligns with the customer’s requirements but also enhances the kitchen’s overall aesthetic. Additionally, we installed cooking appliances in tall units, ensuring ease of access without compromising the design.
For low maintenance and longevity, we chose durable and non-porous quartz worktops. These not only provide a stunning look but also make for easy upkeep. Our goal was to create a kitchen that not only met the customer’s immediate needs, but also aged elegantly, standing the test of time in both functionality and style.
The results
Throughout the process, we maintained a friendly and professional approach, understanding the significance of clear communication and a positive working relationship with our client. It was essential for us to not only deliver a high-quality kitchen but also ensure that the customer felt valued and heard every step of the way.
